He replied as follows: Your manifestation is not within my power. This is only possible by the command of the Name that encompasses all names, has mastery over them, and brings forth and manifests the ḥaqīqa (inner realities). When the Name that possesses all these characteristics commands this, the names took a covenant and pact upon it. After this, the divine realities appeared in the world of shahāda (witnessing) in accordance with what divine ḥikma (wisdom) required. (Nafahāt, 55)
