In remedies, it is to attach anxiety and worry solely to the Real (al-Ḥaqq), to purify baṣīra (spiritual insight) from everything that distracts it from Him, to empty the inner being of everything except the knowledge from the divine presence (ʿilm-i ladun), and to find tranquility in the true light. In spiritual states (aḥwāl), it is to be drawn along by that which attracts oneself with the force of longing (shawq), and to be freed from the constraints of the rulings of knowledge by the ruling of the Real.
In sainthood (walāya), it is to remove the forms that prevent the manifestation of what remains after the attributes of the nafs (the lower self) and the qalb (the heart), the judgments reached by the intellect through annihilation from all others (anything other than Allah), the qualities of mumkināt (possibilities), the signs of contingent things (ḥādith, things that come into being), and the rulings of separation (faṣl) have been effaced.
