The menzil-i emr (station of command) also comprises other stations. These include the menzil-i arwāḥ-i barzakhiyya (station of the spirits in the barzakh), the menzil-i taʿlīm (station of instruction or teaching), the menzil-i ibtidāʾ (station of beginning), the menzil-i sirr (station of secret), the menzil-i namāʾim (station of those things that reveal hadiths), and the menzil-i quṭb wa imāmayn (station of the quṭb and the two imams who are his deputies), among others. menzil-i ibtidāʾ The menzil-i ibtidāʾ (station of beginning) encompasses many stations. (These stations are as follows:) The menzil-i ghalẓa wa subbuhāt (station of severity and awe), the tanazzulāt (descents) and the ʿilm al-tawḥid al-ilāhī (knowledge of the divine tawhid), the menzil-i raḥmat (station of extreme mercy), and the menzil-i ḥaqq wa'l-fazaʿ (station of truth and anxiety).
