He becomes entitled to even more, as promised. (Jāmiʿ, 14)
kāhir (قاهر) The one who has mastery over others besides Allah possesses superiority over everything except Allah. He is truly brave, courageous, daring, possesses great claims, speaks the truth, and judges with justice. The possessor of this maqām (spiritual station) was our shaykh in Baghdad, ʿAbd al-Qādir Jīlī (al-Gaylānī). He had a power and superiority over people that observed the right. (Futūḥāt, II, 17)
