(According to one narration, the shaykh said:) Nisāʾ are the forms (sūrat) of the mumkināt (contingent beings). That which among them is beautiful is beautiful, and prayer (ṣalāh) is to witness (shāhid) those forms.
In a second narration, he said: Nisāʾ are the outward manifestations (zuhūr) of the mumkināt. That which among them is beautiful is beautiful, and prayer is to witness those forms. (Nafahāt, 115)
