With sâ, an allusion (ishāra) is made to the rewards of this world (dunyā) and the Hereafter, to the grace that pertains to pre-eternity, to ihsan (spiritual excellence), to punishment, and to karāma (a saintly wonder). This is the second degree. (Jāmiʿ, 79)
