Safw al-wajd (the purity of wajd), refers to a state of wajd (spiritual ecstasy) that arises in complete purity, occurring without being subject to any influence other than itself. As a poet says:
What more do we need, once our wajd is purified,
there is One who watches over us,
One who informs of our deeds.
