Salsale-i ceres is the manifestation of the attribute of qadiriyyet (Divine Power) through shiddet (intensity). This type of manifestation comes by way of a manifestation from the attribute of azamet (Divine Majesty). It consists in the emergence of the awe of kahiriyyet (overpowering might).
Let us now move to the realization of the state just described in the servant: When the servant begins to realize the truth (ḥaqīqa) of the attribute of qadiriyyet, the state of salsale-i ceres is first unveiled to him. At that moment, the servant finds himself in a condition overwhelmed by the force of azametiyyet (Majesty), under its subjugation. In this state, he hears a tumultuous sound. This sound is the result of the collision of realities. Outwardly, this is like salsale-i ceres. Because this is a station (maqām) of witnessing (mushāhada), and because it possesses a strong kahra (overpowering force) for those who wish to enter it, it prevents hearts from attempting to enter the Presence of the Most Majestic (Azamüti Hazret). This is the greatest veil stretched between the Divine degree and the hearts of the servants. The unfolding of Divine degrees only occurs after hearing this salsale-i ceres. (Insān, I, 63)
