The sciences that are related have been entrusted to the rūḥ (spirit) of Dāwūd, that is, to the word (kalima) of Prophet Dāwūd (David).

The wisdom (ḥikma) of existence has been attributed exclusively to Prophet Dāwūd by nisba (spiritual affiliation). For the reason for the creation of the human being is khilāfa (vicegerency). This is perfected only through Prophet Dāwūd. For this reason, the office of khilāfa has never manifested in anyone as it did in Prophet Dāwūd. For the Real (al-Ḥaqq), Exalted is He, addressed him: "We have made you a khalīfa (vicegerent)" (cf. Ṣād 38:26).

As for Prophet Ādam, this was not expressed so explicitly. The khilāfa of Prophet Ādam is fully manifested only through the khilāfa of Prophet Dāwūd. Know that risāla (messengership) and nubuwwa (prophethood) occur only by divine election; they are not things that can be acquired by kasb (effort and striving), that is, by human will. By the word nubuwwa, I mean tashrīʿ nubuwwa (legislative prophethood). (Sofyavi, 297)
