The secret of sirr-ı rubūbiyyet (the secret of lordship) is the manifestation of the Lord (Rabb) upon the forms of entities (aʿyān, essences). The forms of the entities, being subsistent through the Essence (Dhāt) and, through their determinations, being the loci of manifestation (maẓhar) of the Lord who is apparent (ẓāhir), exist together with Him and exist by His existence. In this respect, these mentioned forms are the servants, and the Real (al-Ḥaqq) is their Lord. For lordship (rubūbiyyet) is realized only through the Real (al-Ḥaqq). In that ḥāl (spiritual state), the entities, in terms of their states in pre-eternity (azal), are non-existent. Thus, lordship is not a secret but has become manifest and has not been nullified. (Kāshānī, 102; Jāmiʿ, 86)

sirr-ı tajalliyāt (the secret of theophanies): The secret of theophanies (tajalliyāt) is to witness everything. This occurs through the unfolding of the first theophany that comes to the qalb (the heart). Thus, the aḥadiyya (the oneness of all names) that gathers together all the names is witnessed in a state of jamʿiyya (collectivity). This witnessing occurs because each name is qualified by the other names and due to their union at the level (martaba) of the essence of aḥadiyya. Their distinction is only in the material worlds, which consist of forms.
