ta'yid (Sufism Glossary)

(ftesdid) Tasdid is to activate the will in order to reach the intended goal swiftly. Rushd is defined as tenbih (awakening attention), tasdid is assistance and support to set something in motion, ta'yid is to reinforce one's work internally with basira (insight) and externally by holding firmly.
