Zehāʾirullāh refers to the community of the awliyāʾ (friends of God) of Allah the Exalted. Just as Allah removes the affliction of poverty through outward means, so too does He remove calamities from His servants through the zehāʾirullāh. (Kāshānī, 162; Jāmiʿ, 83)
