Mahmud B. Lebid B. Ukbe

Mahmud b. Lebid b. Ukbe Ebu Naim el-Ensârî el-Eşhelî. Peygamber (s.a.v.), hayatta iken doğdu. Ondan hadisler rivayet etti. Buha-rî'nin ifadesine göre bu zat sahabedir. İbn Abdi'l-Berr'in ifadesine göre ise Mahmud b. Lebid b. Ukbe, Mahmud b. er-Rebî'den daha sağlam hadisler rivayet etmiştir. Denildiğine göre Mahmud b. Lebid, hicretin doksanaltıncı (başka bir rivayete göre ise hicretin doksanyedinci) senesinde vefat etmiştir. "el-A'lâm" adlı eserde Zehebî'nin anlattığına göre o, hicretin doksandokuzuncu senesinde vefat etmiştir. Kesin tarihi en iyi bilen Allah'tır.
